I first read the article from Kotaku a few hours ago and teared up slightly.
A little bit of my heart died as well.
You might have already heard, but Japanese animation studio and enterprise, Manglobe, has filed for bankruptcy and is no more. This was the main studio behind the animes: Samurai Champloo, Ergo Proxy, The World God Only Knows, Deadman Wonderland, Karneval and the most-recently aired, Gangsta., to name a few.

Manglobe was amazing with their high-quality and wide-ranging styles of animation unique to every series. The way they portrayed each anime differently for every story and creator was really admirable. I’m glad I got the chance to enjoy a few of their works (like Ergo Proxy, Samurai Flamenco and Gangsta.) before this. I’d definitely like to watch a few of their works in the future, but I guess there won’t be any more ‘future works’ from them 😦
